She'll Do What You Do!

You have to really watch your actions when Lexie is around. She really pays attention and micks everything you do.

HAPPY HAPPY EASTER!

This was our Easter morning, NOT what I had expected!!! I was sooo excited for Easter this year. I knew that the Easter Bunny was going to buy Lexie a Barbie bike and I thought she would just LOVE IT! Lexie and I had talked about what she wanted and her eyes always sparkled when we talked about the chance that she could get a bike from the aster bunny. Ryan once again took off with my brothers for the Jeep Safari in Moab. It was just us girls, so we stayed the night at Grandpa Nielsen's house so we could decorate eggs and be on time for the BIG Easter egg hunt. Lexie did get excited about her bike. I only wish she would learn how to ride it!

Preslie is growing like a weed and developing such a cute personality. It makes me sad that she is growing out of that new baby stage. Yet, I am so anxious for the opportunity to watch her spunky little personality grow. She loves to be talked to and you can make her laugh just by tickling her sides.

Preslie, PLEASE play with ME!

Lexie can't wait until her sister is big enough to play with her. She is always bringing Preslie babies and dressing her up. I think the feelings are mutual because Preslie lights up when Lexie pays attention to her (most of the time). I love watching them together and I am terribly excited for the day that they can entertain each other.

Potty Training

When I was pregnant with Preslie I decided that Lexie needed to be potty trained before her arrival so we didn't have two in diapers. That didn't happen, and we are still struggling with it. I bought her a Princess Potty and tried to make a REALLY big deal out of it and this is about all the potty has been used for. SOON she will be out of diapers!

Valentines Day!

Valentines day ACTUALLY occurred at the William's house this year. I have waited 9 years for Ryan to acknowledge Valentines and what do you know this year he actually did SOMETHING!!! YEA! The secret, you ask? Well he went and bought himself a TV and felt bad so while he was at the electronics store he decide to buy me something. Its the thought that counts, RIGHT? It was a very nice gift and I love him for all he does. He also bought Lexie a valentines basket and Preslie got a ball from her mom.

Preslie's Day

We blessed Preslie February 7, 2010. We had decided after her birth that we would wait until the first of the year because of all the chaos that is associated with the holidays. Then January came around and all of us were sick with a nasty cold. So we waited one more month now so both of my girls shared their special day with the Super Bowl. This happened by chance but I think its kind of a coincidence. Grandma Nielsen made her dress. It fit her perfectly and she couldn't have looked more precious. Ryan and I didn't have to worry about her crying during the blessing like we did with Lexie. She is such a pleasant little girl especially when she is being held. Our house is just way too small to hold all of my family so we rented the middle school and had lunch there. We had a great afternoon with family and friends.
