Boys Trip

I decided I had better post some pictures of Ryan's trip to Moab. He had a lot of fun. He told me that it was the first time that he REALLY rode his bike hard and LOVED it! I must say I was a little insulted. I guess I must not be a very good riding partner!

Easter Sunday

Lexie and I spent Easter Sunday in Pocatello with the Nielsen's. We stayed the night on Saturday since we were already down for the rodeo and went to church with Mom and Dad. Lexie was thrilled about getting her hair done for church if you look closely you can see a tear in her eye. Poor thing! Her mother picks on her terribly. Of course we had our annual Nielsen Easter egg hunt. Lexie would have nothing to do with it. She was a little crabby the whole day. I can't say we had a "Happy Easter," although it was a good one. Lexie just needed a really long nap, in a really bad way! She did look cute in her Easter dress and she LOVED the jelly beans.

Rodeo Time

I love going to the DNCFR. This year Ryan was in Moab playing with the boys so Lexie and I went with Grandpa and Grandma Nielsen. Lexie did surprisingly well for having to stay in one spot for over four hours. We had a nice time and enjoyed being able to cheer our home town cowboy to victory!

Discovering The Great Outdoors

Two weeks ago we had to repair our main water line to our house. Luckily it was a nice day and Lexie was able to play on the deck while we worked outside. She loved it. Everytime we would take her inside she would cry. This of course made Ryan so happy. He just can't wait for her to be big enough that he can have more freedom while I am at work. He keeps telling me that the two of them are going to spend alot of time camping together!

This is the hole we had to dig to get to the main line. It was a muddy mess and a horrible location for digging.

Mom's Little Helper

Lexie is at the age that she has to be right in the middle of everything that I am involved in. At times it is absolutely adorable to watch her. She loves to mimic and its fun to see her involved in learning. Then at times its completely annoying. Here are some pictures of Lexie trying to be helpful. I decided one afternoon to make a hair bow to match one of Lexie's outfits. As soon as I started looking through my ribbon Lexie was right in the middle of the action. She loves to wear necklaceses and decided to drape the ribbon around her neck. That day no bows were made. Everytime I'd try to remove a strand of ribbon from around her neck she'd get upset.

Here she is helping me make Chicken Noodle Soup. What would I do without her?

Lava Hot Springs

Before Lexie was born, Ryan and I truely enjoyed just staying home together relaxing and not doing much of anything. This is slowly changing, as we are realizing that sometimes its easier with kids to just take them SOMEWHERE! When we stay home it seems as if Lexie gets restless, tired and cRaNkY!! Not only is her disposition rotten, but the house, oh my, what a MESS. Lexie can make a disaster of a room in a real hurry. Our solution, Lava Hot Springs. What a great place to take a one year old! Who would have thought. Its great for everyone, we get to relax and Lexie loves splashing in the water. Lets just say we have been to Lava more in the last two months then we have the entire time we've known each other.
