Lexie has Pigtails

This last week I was able to spend some time with Lacie, being a hair idiot I asked her what I should do about Lexie's growing hair. She looks like Cramer off of Seinfield half of the time with curly hair on top and striaght messy hair on bottom. I' ve been debating on wether I should cut some of it off so it doesn't hang over her ears. Lacie suggested that I try pigtails. So we did, they were pretty cute for about 15 minutes and then Lexie had them pulled out and her hair stuck out on the sides the rest of the day.

A few days latter I sprayed her entire head with gel, and brushed all her hair into curls. This made her entire head of hair stick up all over in curls. I thought she looked pretty cute. Her Dad would have hated it, but oh well, he was at work!

Pumpkin Patch

One afternoon, Lexie and I left Ryan at home and we headed off to Firth to find a BIG PUMPKIN. I have big plans to carve one out and then take pictures of Lexie inside. (Those pictures will be coming soon.) So we were on a mission to find a cheap, large pumpkin before they were all gone. Mission accomplished! We found the perfect pumpkin patch and three good sized pumpkins. The biggest one is so large I had to roll it to the car. While we were there I had to take some picture of Lexie's first adventure to a pumpkin patch. As you can tell she was thrilled. The sun was in her eyes and being a girly, girl she didn't think much of sitting in the dirt.

Cheeto Anyone?

Forget the bananas, carrots, squash, and

applesauce, bring on the cheetos and diet coke! This is one little girl who is happy about lunch. She must take after her mother.

Where Should We Send HER???

China, France, Asia, Oh Where should Lexie go? I just can't decide. Somedays, I know Ryan would like to send her away, so he can get things done outside. In fact he does, Thanks Jodie!! This particular day I had just recieved an order of halloween decorations and I needed to sort through the order. Lexie had no where to go so she got put in the box. She loved it.

Ride 'em Cowgirl

My little cowgirl! Not quite an eight second ride, but she tried to impress me, she even tried to ride with no hands. Lexie
loves horses as long as they are small furry and kept indoors.
The real thing is a little intimidating. She will pull at Wacco's (Ryan's horse to whom he loves dearly) nose and then she swiftly pushes him away with her little hands. When you put her on top of the horse she cries and reaches for her mom. Hopefully, this winter we will be able to do some riding in an indoor arena, so she can learn to make an eight second ride on the real thing.

Mom, Look What I DID!!

One night, Ryan and I were both studying, I am preparing to take my Ultrasound Registry Examination and Ryan is taking a couple of courses through ISU. Lexie was being particularly fussy and wanted our attention. She kept reaching for my book and pen and so finally I gave her the pin. She was content for a little while and then started crying again. When I looked up she had drawn on her face. I pulled out the camera and immediately the tears vanished and a smile appeared on her face. She was so cute smiling and posing that I couldn't take just one picture. She was pathetic.

Fun At The Fair

Food, Animals, Entertainment and People, that's what the fair is all about. If only Lexie could talk she'd tell you all about the fun she had at the fair. She's an expert since she got to spend five out of the seven days there taking in and loving all the commotion. Her favorite things were the horse races, the people and of course the cotton candy. The running horses got her excited her little arms and legs would start flying and they wouldn't slow down until the races where over. We took her over to the petting zoo and she didn't act to impressed, she'd push the goats away and look the other direction! She did hold a puppy and that brought a smile to her face.
